Hello peeps. Been quite busy the last couple of days and was feeling really lazy so couldn't be bother to write. Sorry abt that... *sheepish* Anyhow... I'm celebrating cos moi exams are over!!!!!!!!! YEA!!!!! Hehe... ;p I've been slacking like nobody's business - and i love it. Can go out... Don't need to stuff my brain with any more crappy cheng yus and ci yus (not for another month anyway) =0) School is now so much more relaxed cos' the teachers (esp. Ms low) don't have to rush to finish revising all the topics we cover.. So nice.. Hehe..

ANyways.. Quite a few things happened in the past two days and first of all is that i talked to Jian Ming last night. It's been like, more than a year since I've really had a proper chat with him and i miss him loads. And guess what?? He told me he's going back to church!!!! Not CHC, but at least he's not running away from God anymore. And when he told me that, i just got this really happy feeling and i was (and still am) sooo proud of him ya know. =) It was great to hear his voice again, and i'll prob meet him this Friday.. Hopefully so.... Hmm.. Maybe i could even get Rach to come along! Then see the both of them together. Think that both of them will be shocked by how much I've changed in the past two years. Looking at their faces would definitely be fun :D

Teacher's Day is coming, and I have no idea what to buy for jiao lian, xiao wen lao shi, huang lao shi, ms cheong, mrs simon.. And a whole load of other teachers i need to get something for. Doinkx.. Bballers all thinking of getting xiao wen lao shi a teddy.. Any opinions peeps? I seriously need major help here... And another prob we have is the fact that we are afraid we might be showing favouritism if we don't get huang lao shi anything. So we're in a dilemma of what to do. -_-"" Oh well, onto other things.

It's in the new Hillsong album and for the past few days, i have been blasting the album into my ears 24/7. I think my mom is starting to get sick of it cos she always gives me grumpy looks when I turn the music too loud.. Hmmm... Maybe she'll get infected as well.. Hehe.. Man. I should stop digressing. Doinkz. So ya, back to the song...

I think that... If you always put your trust and your expectations on people, then you're bound to get disappointed cos' of the fact that people aren't perfect. But if you just depend on God to be able to pull you thru whatever circumstance u have and to put ur hope in His hands, then u'll be able to love Him totally... If people actually knew that there was a God in this world that would never disappoint them, i think that the world would be a much better place, becos alot less people would have hurts and wounds.... So that's my opinion.. :D

He||o.. =) I haVe got a cute blog address right... *grins* Think it's really appropriate cos' of the fact that i'm so crazy over Jesus right now (and forever and forever and forever and forever...). =) It's really great to soak in the presence ya know? Oh well, today was cg day and it was fabulous!!!!! Absolutely great!!! Feel that YilIn is definitely becoming more D... (Lin: If you're reading this.. then u must be happy to know that i think u're becoming more D liao.. hehe) And it's good... We talked about having spiritual atmosphere individually and corporately as a church. Was awesome.

Anyways.. This week has been a super week of breakthrus... =) Feel that i have to write it down in case it slips my mind. I have had a few totally awesome revelations that happened... So lemme start from the beginning.

First revelation : Everything I do is for the Lord (eg. booking seats.. doing PA) and if i just do it with a willing heart, God will bless me according to how much i put into what i'm doing for Him. It's like.. Feel that it's a really big breakthrough esp. when i'm super irritated with people wo come late for service, when i'm booking seats and i finally can breakthru to realise that they aren't the reason why i put in so much effort. cos ultimately, i do it for God, n when he sees the heart, He'll bless. =) So now i'm much more relaxed abt this...

Second revelation : Going to church with an expectant spirit is VERY important (also applies to cg). It's sumthing i often take forgranted, but I realise that if you go to church with expectancy in your heart, it really changes how u feel n your attitude during service. Cos.. When there is expectancy and a sense of hunger, then what u receive in your spirit will be super, super zai. =) Oh ya... Another important thing - committing the service (or cg) into God's hand before the whole thing is a very good way of building atmosphere in the place. Becos when u commit the service into God's hand, you're basically saying "God, I want something out of this place and i won't be satisfied until i get it..."

Third Revelation: Worshipping is a very, very enoyable thing. =) Especially during quiet time.. I got this during the Hillsong concert when Darlene Zschech was talking abt Psalms 150.It's a very simple psalm, but it has so much impact n it's a great way to end the whole book of Psalms =) I mean.. It just talks about praising God; "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!" Great right? Hehe... So now feel much more comfortable in just worshipping God.. =)
